The ACTIVE ECO mix consists of selected SPECJAL bentonite raw material and an ecological glossy carbon carrier. Dedicated to the foundry industry for the preparation of moulding compounds for iron castings with high quality requirements.

ADVANTAGES OF USE:

  • reduces emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and benzol hydrocarbons (BTEX);

  • has a positive effect on the surface quality of castings;

  • – produces a smooth, scorch-free surface;

  • improves the fluidity of the moulding compound and its compactability;

  • reduces the penetration of metal deep into the mould and will also improve the casting knockout process.

ZGM Zębiec SA currently offers three types of bentonite mixtures with the following technical parameters:

The ACTIVE PLUS ECO mix consists of the selected hybrid bentonite raw material SPECJAL PLUS and an ecological glossy carbon carrier. Dedicated to the foundry industry for the preparation of moulding compounds for iron castings with high quality requirements.

ADVANTAGES OF USE:

  • reduces emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and benzol hydrocarbons (BTEX);

  • favourably influences the surface quality of castings;

  • produces a smooth, scorch-free surface;

  • improves the fluidity of the moulding compound and its compactability;

  • reduces the penetration of metal deep into the mould and will also improve the casting knockout process.
